The villa in numbers
325 m² of wood and stone. Three bedrooms with king-size beds, each with its own bathroom, two of them with additional bunk beds. Heated pool of 6 by 3 metres with mountain views, sauna, whirlpool, sun lawn. Private lift. For the length of your stay, the villa is yours alone.
Your walk through the Kopf-Berg Villa
Where design, nature and privacy meet.
It stood 167 years in the Augsburg nature park. In 2018 a thunderstorm brought it down. Too thick, too heavy, outside every standard — no sawmill wanted it. The usual path would have been firewood.
It dried in the open for 63 months. Then a crane lifted 927 kilograms over the chalet onto the terrace — it does not fit through a door.
Today you cook on it. The whole living space is built around it. It makes no noise. It is simply there.
